Before becoming the Princess of Wales, Kate was a humble and athletic girl from the quiet village of Bucklebury. Her fond memories of growing up in the countryside have influenced her decision to raise her children outside of London, opting for the peace of Windsor instead.
Kate and her husband, Prince William, will soon be setting up home at Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park, close to their current residence, Adelaide Cottage.
