A train derailment in Columbia has resulted in significant road closures and the evacuation of a school, but fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency confirmed that the derailed train cars were empty. Columbia Academy's campus was evacuated as a precaution, with buses departing at 1:00 p.m. and all after-school events canceled.
No injuries have been reported.
