Charitable Pumpkin Fundraiser
The second annual Charitable Pumpkin fundraiser will take place on Saturday at Bramblitt's Yellow Dog Art Bar from 5 to 8 p.m.
Fifty local artists were given ceramic pumpkins to decorate for the event, which benefits Court Appointed Special Advocates of Denton County.
"We've distributed 50 ceramic pumpkins to local artists in Denton," event producer Marko Coady said. "Those artists range from well-established artists to college students to high school students and everything in between.
The event, created by Greg and Suzanne Hayes and their daughter, artist Dani Hayes, will include live music, pumpkin carving, and an auction featuring pumpkin art pieces created by local artists.
The artists' names will not be revealed until winners have been chosen to keep bias out of the judging process.
