A recent visit to a Twin Lakes city council meeting revealed a disturbing trend. The author's sister had been sharing "crazy stories" about these meetings for the past year.
The city council is being led by a man who has a history of causing harm to lives, schools, and organizations. The council members seem to be under his control, with one exception - a member who remains committed to upholding the city council's rules and guidelines.
The Twin Lakes city council members are just puppets in his show, except for one member who refuses to abandon her ideals and the Twin Lakes City Council rules and meeting guidelines.
The author's family has a long history in the town, with their brother-in-law's family having lived there for a hundred years.
