Crews at Colorado's ski resorts work at night and in the early morning to make snow. According to Keystone Resort communication manager Sarah McClear,
our snowmakers are people who are passionate about the ski and snowboard community. These individuals are dedicated to skiing and will go to great lengths to pursue their passion.
The first round of snowmaking occurred at Arapahoe Basin, Keystone Resort, and Loveland Ski Area from Sunday night into Monday morning. Snowmakers utilize digital monitors to measure wet-bulb temperature, which combines air temperature and humidity levels.
