Kildare Cross-Country Championships
Another successful Kildare Cross-Country Championships took place at Hodgestown.
Boys and girls, ladies and men competed for county titles.
The intermediate ladies title was won by Gillian Clyne (Clane), who out kicked Aoife McNerney (St Coca’s).
Luke Gilmartin (Celbridge AC) took the men’s title.
Outstanding juvenile races included wins by Iris McCartan (Clane), Patrick Guther (Newbridge) and Laoise Byrne (Suncroft), who became double county cross-country champions.
The championships featured close and competitive races, adding to the day’s excitement.
