Tragedy on Irish Roads: Man Dies in Three-Car Crash
A man died in a three-car crash in Kilkenny over the weekend, marking the second death on Irish roads this weekend.
The incident occurred on the N10 at Templemartin at around 4:30 pm on Saturday evening. The man, who was in his 40s and the sole occupant of his vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
- A man and woman in a second car were taken to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
- The occupants of the third vehicle did not require immediate hospital treatment.
The local coroner has been notified, and a full forensic collision investigation will be conducted by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators (FCI).
The N10 was closed overnight from the junction at Exit 8 of the M9 to the Hebron Road roundabout, with local diversions in place.
