Marines Destroy Russian Artillery Systems Shelling Kherson
Over the past four days, the 30th Marine Corps destroyed four Russian artillery systems shelling Kherson.
Colonel Oleksandr Zavtonov, spokesperson for the 30th Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Navy, reported that between October 7 and 10, Russian forces carried out 38 artillery attacks on settlements.
“Over the past four days, the warriors of the 30th Marine Corps have destroyed four artillery systems that were shelling Kherson,”
According to Zavtonov, Kherson suffers the most from these attacks, as the city is practically “on the frontline.” He added that Ukrainian forces do not position their artillery within urban areas to avoid endangering civilians, but have the means to counter such attacks.
