Two Penn Professors Named 2025 American Physical Society Fellows
The American Physical Society has recognized two professors from the University of Pennsylvania as 2025 Fellows.
The honor is given for
“outstanding advances in physics through original research and publication, or significant innovative contributions in the application of physics to science and technology”.
- Ritesh Agarwal, Materials Science and Engineering professor
- Douglas Jerolmack, Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics professor
Each year, fewer than 0.5% of American Physical Society members are elected Fellows.
