A 25-year-old Albany woman, Imahjai Sutherland, has been charged with manslaughter for an alleged drunken crash on 787 that killed her two passengers.

According to State Police, the vehicle was found over an embankment off the northbound lanes in the area of Exit 5 just before 7 a.m. All three people in the vehicle had severe injuries.

Police said troopers observed signs of intoxication and took a blood sample at Albany Medical Center. Sutherland was taken to the State Police Latham station after being released from the hospital.
