Saturday's vintage plough match at Westerseat Farm was memorable for a female novice winner and a ploughman who had waited 15 years to get the top award.

Stevie Blackwood from Thurso was voted Overall Champion. Additionally, 22-year-old Emma Polson was named Novice Champion and Best Looking Ploughperson.
I've been involved for 35 years and only once saw a lassie ploughing, so I was delighted and I hope she'll come back
