From 1 January to 26 October 2025, a total of 565,404 confirmed cholera cases and 7,074 deaths were recorded across 32 countries in five WHO regions. This data highlights the ongoing global spread of cholera and the continued need for coordinated public health responses.

Cholera outbreaks were reported across multiple continents. The African Region remained the most affected, accounting for the vast majority of cases and deaths. Countries in the Eastern Mediterranean, South-East Asia, and Americas regions also registered new cases, showing sustained transmission patterns.
