The Minister for Health, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD, has officially opened a new 96-bed block at University Hospital Limerick (UHL).
This 6,700 square-metre development, costing €105m, addresses bed capacity deficits in the Mid-West, as highlighted in HIQA's review of urgent and emergency care.
