Ronald “Ron” E. Isaac, age 82, of Alexandria, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at St. Cloud Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria. Full military honors will be provided by the Minnesota Honor Guard and the Veteran’s Memorial Honor Guard. Interment will follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria, and will continue one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Ronald Eugene Isaac was born on November 23, 1942, in Jackson, Michigan, to Floyd and Beatrice (Kaminski) Isaac. He graduated from Michigan Center High School in 1961. Ron served in the Navy Reserves while attending Jackson Junior College, earning a degree in business engineering. After an honorable discharge, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in Okinawa, being honorably discharged in 1965. While stationed in Wadena, he met his future wife, Mary Jane Skarka, and they married on February 1, 1965, in Sisseton, South Dakota.
Ron and Mary Jane made their home in Brooklyn, Michigan, where he worked for Walker Manufacturing for three years before returning to Minnesota.

- Daughter: Tamara Fields of Harris
- Nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren
- Sisters: Pat (Jerry) Baumgardner; Mary (Roger) Weaver
- Many other relatives and friends
Ron is also remembered for his service to country and his family, with a life rooted in faith, duty, and community involvement.
