After part of the line-up at this year’s Royal Variety Performance, set to be broadcast on ITV this December, a veteran comedian is slated for a rare appearance in Northumberland. Mick Miller performed on the same stage as Madness, Sir Stephen Fry, Su Pollard, Matt Lucas, Jessie J, and many others.
A live cabaret night at The Terrace Club in Seaton Delaval is scheduled for Friday, February 20, headlined by Mick Miller. The show will feature full supporting acts and hosting duties by radio favorite Goffy, presented by Goffy Media.
Mick Miller has a notable connection to Seaton Delaval football legend Ray Kennedy. Both were signed by Port Vale manager Sir Stanley Matthews in summer 1966 and were released at a similar time a few years later. They were teenagers at the club, facing rejection, yet their careers diverged dramatically afterward.
“We are all thrilled and excited because this is a huge coup for the club. Mick Miller is at the very top of his game and after his Royal Variety Performance appearance alongside the very biggest names, this show will be something super special.”
