Lanette I. Johnson

“Lynn” Johnson, age 53, of Bellefonte, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She was born May 19, 1972, in Bellefonte, daughter of the late Howard and Dale (Hillard) Walk, III.

Family and Education

On November 21, 1999, Lynn married Brian L. Johnson, who survives her at home. She graduated from Bellefonte Area High School, Class of 1990, and earned her LPN certificate from Centre Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology in Pleasant Gap.

Career and Retirement

Lynn worked at Brookline/Juniper Village, retiring in 2014 after many years of dedicated service. After retirement, she remained a homemaker.

Interests and Hobbies

Enjoyed Christmas, especially looking at festive lights during rides
Loved Halloween and seeing children in costumes
Passionate about gingerbread houses and cookies
An excellent baker known for brownies and Christmas cookies
Favorite pastime was relaxing on the porch with a cold Mike’s Lemonade and a cigarette

A Loving Pet Owner

Lynn adored animals, especially her pugs—Joey, Pearl, Lily, Diamond, and Gracie—and her two Pit Bulls, Miley and Ellie.

“Lynn loved all animals, especially her bundle of pugs, Joey, Pearl, Lily, Diamond, & Gracie, and then also her two Pitt Bulls, Miley & Ellie. She loved her family and would do anything for them. She was proud of her children and all their accomplishments.”
