Samira Wiley and Jin Ha Join Broadway Revival of "Proof"

The Broadway revival of David Auburn’s Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning play Proof will feature Emmy and SAG Award winner Samira Wiley in her Broadway debut as Claire. The production is directed by Tony winner Thomas Kail and opens at the Booth Theatre on March 31, 2026.

Cast and Creative Team

The creative team includes original music by Kris Bowers, scenic design by Teresa L. Williams, costume design by Dede Ayite, lighting design by Amanda Zieve, sound design by Justin Ellington and Connor Wang, hair and wig design by Mia Neal, and casting by Daniel Swee.

Samira Wiley’s Theatre Background

A Juilliard graduate, Wiley recently appeared in the Donmar Warehouse production of Lynn Nottage’s Intimate Apparel in London, following her role in the National Theatre's Blues for an Alabama Sky. Off-Broadway, she starred in the 2016 production of Daphne’s Dive at Signature Theatre.
