Hollywood icon Tom Cruise recently attended a private screening of Glen Powell’s latest action film, “The Running Man.” Sharing the moment on Instagram on November 6, the 63‑year‑old actor praised his Top Gun: Maverick costar, celebrating the movie alongside the cast and crew.
After their collaboration on the 2022 blockbuster, Cruise and Powell have maintained a strong friendship. The Instagram post featured several photos of the event, highlighting their camaraderie and genuine enthusiasm for each other’s work.
The first image showed Cruise and Powell smiling while holding matching popcorn boxes decorated with the film’s title and artwork. Another photo captured Cruise joined by cast members Coleman Domingo, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, and director Edgar Wright, all posing with popcorn in hand inside the theater.
“Another great night out with my friends at the movies! You guys crushed it, congratulations! I laughed, was on the edge of my seat and ate way too much popcorn,” wrote Cruise.
This isn’t the first time Cruise has supported Powell’s work. In July 2024, he attended the London premiere of Powell’s earlier film Twisters, further reflecting their ongoing friendship and professional respect.
Cruise continues to champion his costar Glen Powell, celebrating “The Running Man” and demonstrating his enduring support for fellow actors and their creative projects.
