Queen Camilla attended the National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in London on Sunday, joining senior royals in honoring the nation’s fallen troops. This ceremony is one of the most important annual events in the royal calendar.
The Queen, who was absent last year due to a chest infection, returned in 2025 wearing a large black hat, a black dress, and pearl earrings. Following tradition, she wore red poppies pinned to her dress, a symbol worn by the royal family throughout November to commemorate the sacrifices made by armed forces and civilians in past conflicts.
During the ceremony, Queen Camilla and the Princess of Wales, who stood together on the balcony above the Cenotaph, shared a warm smile and a brief conversation. Other royals present on nearby balconies included Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and Prince Edward, Duke of Kent.

The King, dressed in military uniform as Commander in Chief of the armed forces, laid a wreath on behalf of the nation at the memorial. He was accompanied by Prince Edward and Prince William.
Queen Camilla also serves as the Royal Patron of the Poppy Factory, which organizes the annual Field of Remembrance at the North Green of Westminster Abbey.
