Marcelo Bielsa's Captaincy Decision for Uruguay
Marcelo Bielsa has made a decision on his captain for Uruguay's friendly against Uzbekistan, involving Celtic's Marcelo Saracchi.
Saracchi was called up to the Uruguay squad for the first time since March 2025 and was made captain for the game against the Dominican Republic.
He has been included in the team to play Uzbekistan, taking his senior international appearances to 10, but won't lead the team out as captain.
The captaincy has been given to Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Santiago Bueno.
