Jetstar has announced new direct flights connecting the Sunshine Coast with Bali, beginning 25 March 2026. This addition makes international getaways more accessible and budget-friendly for travelers in the region.
The new route will operate three times per week using Jetstar’s modern Airbus A321LR aircraft, offering over 70,000 affordable seats annually. This marks the first time direct flights will link the Sunshine Coast and Bali, establishing a major milestone for both tourism and regional connectivity.
“Travellers can now skip the trip to Brisbane and fly straight to Bali’s beaches, culture, and tropical charm — saving time, money, and the road trip.”
This new route will be Jetstar’s tenth direct connection from Australia to Bali and the fourth from Queensland. It follows the recent success of direct Gold Coast to Bali flights introduced earlier in 2025.
Flight schedules are designed to align with Jetstar’s existing services between Bali (Denpasar) and Singapore, allowing passengers to depart from the Sunshine Coast in the morning and arrive in Singapore by evening.
Author’s summary: Jetstar expands its Queensland presence with new Sunshine Coast–Bali flights from $199, connecting seamlessly through Bali to Singapore for faster, affordable international travel.
