“It’s not just a game”: Sens Skills is back!

November 6, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – OTTAWA – The annual Sens Skills competition is returning, bringing the Ottawa Senators players together for a spirited day of family fun and skill challenges. This year’s event will be held at Canadian Tire Centre on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 1 p.m., sponsored by CAA North & East Ontario (CAA NEO).

Event Format and Activities

The competition features Senators players divided into two squads battling head-to-head in various skill events, such as:

Puck control relay
Fastest skater
Hardest shot
Accuracy shooting
Individual obstacle course
Five puck one-on-one
3-on-3 competitions

Additionally, four “Junior Draft” players will compete alongside their hockey heroes, including participants from the PWHL’s Ottawa Charge. Doors open at 12 p.m.
