On Monday, 10 November 2025, Jetstar announced its largest expansion yet from Melbourne Avalon Airport, introducing new international flights to Bali and resuming services to Adelaide, as well as increasing flights to Brisbane.

This expansion will bring more than 330,000 additional low-fare seats annually to and from Melbourne's second airport, supporting both local travelers and tourism-driven economic growth in Victoria.

To celebrate, Jetstar is offering a 48-hour sale on all Melbourne Avalon routes starting midday today, with domestic fares from $29^ and Bali fares from $199^.

From 23 March 2026, Jetstar will operate five return flights weekly between Melbourne Avalon and Bali (Denpasar) using its modern Airbus A321LR aircraft, adding over 120,000 seats annually.
