Queensland Police Service Mourns Ian Leavers APM

The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Ian Leavers APM, the Queensland Cross-Border Commissioner, former President of the Queensland Police Union of Employees (QPUE), and former QPS member.

Mr. Leavers was found deceased around 9:50 a.m. at a residence in Mount Ommaney. Police responded to the scene, and while investigations are ongoing, his death is not considered suspicious.
