Bad Company was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday night at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The band was honored by Mick Fleetwood, who praised their contributions during his induction speech.
Founding drummer Simon Kirke was joined onstage by several notable artists for the performance. Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes, Nancy Wilson from Heart, and Joe Perry of Aerosmith performed "Feel Like Makin’ Love" together, despite a minor technical glitch at the start. Bryan Adams then led the band through "Can’t Get Enough," delivering a strong vocal performance alongside Robinson.
“My hope was to be at the Rock & Rock Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and to perform for the fans, but at this time I have to prioritize my health. I have no problem singing, it’s the stress of everything else.”
Legendary lead singer Paul Rodgers was unable to attend due to health issues. Simon Kirke acknowledged Rodgers during the event, calling him one of the greatest singers of all time.
Kirke also paid tribute to former band members who passed away, including Mick Ralphs, who died earlier this year, and Boz Burrell, who passed in 2006.
Bad Company’s induction and heartfelt tributes underscored their lasting impact on rock music.
