Dansville World War II Veteran Honored at Pennsylvania Ceremony

Dick Bondi, a native of Geneseo now living in Dansville, served in the U.S. Navy aboard the submarine Caiman during World War II. A photograph from his 1943 enlistment was displayed at the ceremony, alongside other wartime memorabilia, offering guests a glimpse into his naval service.
During the event, Bondi shared memories of his time at sea with fellow veteran Vince Disalvo, exploring the museum’s submarine exhibits and reflecting on their shared experiences.
