Defence Holdings PLC, the UK's first software-led defense company, has formed a strategic partnership with Oracle to deliver sovereign AI solutions aimed at global defense and national security sectors. This collaboration integrates Defence Technologies' AI applications with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), combining large-scale performance with strict national sovereignty controls.
Defence Technologies, a joint venture between Defence Holdings and Whitespace, will leverage OCI to provide secure, scalable, and cost-effective AI capabilities to allied nations. The partnership focuses on preserving data integrity within highly regulated environments while enhancing national security operations.
This collaboration is part of Oracle’s expanding Defense Ecosystem, which aims to accelerate the digital transformation of national security organizations. Deploying applications on OCI’s distributed cloud allows Defence Technologies to meet the unique needs of agencies requiring sovereign control of their data.
