Peloton is voluntarily recalling 878,800 seat posts from its Bike+ models after reports of injuries related to seat post failures.
The recalled part is a metal seat post that supports the bike seat. It may break during use, potentially causing serious falls and injuries. The recall impacts approximately 833,000 bikes sold in the United States and 44,800 sold in Canada.
The recall follows three reports of seat posts breaking during use, resulting in injuries to two individuals.
“The integrity of our products and our Members’ well-being are our top priorities,” said a Peloton spokesperson.
This recall reflects Peloton’s commitment to customer safety amid growing concerns about equipment reliability.
