Hong Kong Sixes 2025 begins on November 7 with 12 teams competing in this fast-paced, six-player cricket tournament. Originating in the 1990s, the event was created to showcase international cricket stars to Hong Kong's fans despite the city being only an ICC Associate Member.
The Hong Kong Sixes ran annually from 1993 to 1997, resumed between 2001 and 2012, had a brief comeback in 2017, and was relaunched in 2024 as a regular international event with cricket boards encouraging player participation.
Dinesh Karthik will captain the Indian team at the tournament, which will miss Ravichandran Ashwin due to injury.
The Hong Kong Sixes 2025 will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Network and SonyLiv.
