Jude Law and his producing partner Ben Jackson are developing a slate of writer-driven projects, including Sharon Horgan's first feature screenplay and a 1960s-set drama written by "Challengers" writer Justin Kuritzkes.
Jude Law and Ben Jackson met in a pub in Primrose Hill, London, in 2000. They founded Riff Raff Entertainment in 2017, growing it into a focused production company. Their projects include Harry Wootliff’s True Things (2021). In 2022, they secured investment from Calculus Capital.
“It’s win-win for us,” says Ben Jackson of the partnership with interconnected companies. “We can take a project to them and they can put it with the team that likes the project.”
Riff Raff Entertainment now manages a diverse range of writer-driven projects and plans to open an office in Los Angeles.
“We’re hoping to expand through the involvement and the tastes of the people who are leading the development team,” says Jude Law. “Nurturing other people’s ideas and passions is key to our long-term survival.”
