Sophia Laforteza expressed her disbelief and excitement over Katseye's Grammy nominations in a heartfelt series of Instagram Stories.
“Oh my goodness,” Sophia wrote. “I can’t believe this.” In another post, she added, “I’m dreaming.”

HYBE's global girl group Katseye received nominations for:
- Best New Artist, competing with Olivia Dean, The Marias, Addison Rae, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Lola Young.
- Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their song “Gabriela.”
Other nominees in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category include:
- “Defying Gravity” by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande
- “Golden” by HUNTR/X, Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami

About Katseye
Katseye debuted in 2023 and visited Manila in 2024 for a fan showcase and collaborations. In June, they released the Latin-inflected R&B-pop track “Gabriela,” accompanied by a telenovela-style music video featuring Hollywood actress Jessica Alba.
Besides “Gabriela,” Katseye is known for songs like “Gnarly,” “Gameboy,” “Touch,” and “Debut.”
