2025 Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees
Clemson athletics and IPTAY’s Block C Club are honoring 10 former Tiger greats as the 2025 Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame class. The inductees will be recognized during tonight’s game against Florida State at Memorial Stadium.
Tim Bourret
- Worked in Clemson’s sports information department for 40 years (1978–2018), initially as assistant director under Bob Bradley (1978–1989), then as director (1989–2018).
- Inducted into the National College Sports Information Directors Hall of Fame in 2017.
- Received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the College Sports Information Directors Association in 2019.
- Awarded the Bobby Richardson Award by the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018.
- Under his leadership, Clemson’s football SID office earned the “Super 11” award from the Football Writers Association five times, recognizing it as one of the top-11 in the nation.
- Edited over 100 Clemson award-winning publications, including 37 football-related publications.
- Served on ESPN’s committee for the 150-year anniversary of college football.
- In his 47th year broadcasting Clemson men’s basketball, he is considered the dean of broadcasters in any ACC sport.
- Currently in his 13th year as a color commentator for Clemson football games.
- Named an honorary alumnus of Clemson University in 2007.
