The Jules Verne 2025 Exceptional Christmas Log Cake

The Jules Verne restaurant is launching its 2025 Christmas log cake, named Voyage Extraordinaire, inspired by the Эйфелева башня’s observation glasses. Created by pastry chef Kévin Rabateaud under the guidance of two-Michelin-starred chef Frédéric Anton, the cake is available for order on December 24 and 25, 2025.

An Original Yule Log Design

Located on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower in Paris’s 7th arrondissement, The Jules Verne restaurant offers this unique log cake that mimics the shape of the monument’s observation glasses. This design pays tribute to the famous novelist after whom the restaurant is named, creating a poetic connection between sky and earth.

Refined Composition and Flavors

Encased in a delicately spiced, subtly sweet white chocolate shell, the log consists of a rolled biscuit soaked in blood orange syrup. The center offers a blend of vanilla citrus cream and yuzu confit, which adds a refreshing, tangy note typical of modern pâtisserie.

The cake is finished with a light mousse infused with Christmas spices and chestnut honey. Hidden within the chocolate decorations is a crunchy praline flavored with bergamot zest, creating a bold taste experience reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower’s audacity.

“This original Christmas log stands out for its spectacular design and refined composition.”

Having tasted it in advance, the creation impresses not only visually but also with its harmony of flavors, delivering a festive and gourmet experience.

Author’s summary: The Jules Verne’s 2025 Christmas log, inspired by the Eiffel Tower’s observation glasses, combines inventive design with sophisticated citrus and spice flavors for a truly unique festive dessert.
