Glen Powell spills all on his awkward half naked scene in latest film

Glen Powell Shares Experience with Awkward Nude Scene in The Running Man

Glen Powell, 37, known for his role in Anyone But You, stars in the latest adaptation of Stephen King's 1982 novel The Running Man, following Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1987 version. On a recent episode of The Graham Norton Show, Glen revealed details about filming a revealing, half-naked stunt scene in freezing conditions.

Challenging Stunts and Unexpected Moments

Glen described having to abseil down eight stories of a building while wearing only a harness, which he said "cinched" unflatteringly. He added a humorous anecdote about a crew member responsible for preventing him from kicking a window, who ended up getting an unintended up-close view during many takes.

"I had to abseil down eight storeys of a building in freezing conditions half naked and wearing a harness which cinched me – believe me nothing looked good. The crazy thing I found out after was that there was a guy whose only job was to stop me kicking a window, which means he was looking up my skirt all night, I wondered what he was seeing take after take."

Advice from Tom Cruise

Glen also opened up about receiving stunt advice from Tom Cruise, who humorously critiqued Glen's on-screen presence in the film.

"Tom rang me to give me the low down and, what I thought would be a ten min call, lasted two and half hours – he basically told me how not to die."

The Top Gun star, 63, told Glen he didn’t "look cool" and shared expert tips to succeed and survive performing stunts safely.

Summary

Glen Powell’s candid stories highlight the physical challenges and unexpected humor behind filming intense scenes in The Running Man, enriched by invaluable advice from Tom Cruise.
