Three Men Charged with Murder Following Death of Man, HMP Wakefield
Detectives have charged three inmates with murder following the death of a prisoner at HMP Wakefield on Wednesday, 5 November 2025.
The deceased, Kyle Bevan, 33, was discovered lifeless in his cell early Wednesday morning. Following an investigation, three fellow prisoners have been charged.

- Lee Newell, 56
- David Taylor, 63
All three men, identified as White British, have been remanded in custody. They are scheduled to appear before Leeds Magistrates Court this morning.
