Owners of Tony Soprano’s House Endorse Candidate in Tight NJ Governor Race

The owners of the iconic North Caldwell, New Jersey mansion featured in the beloved HBO series have publicly declared their support for GOP candidate Jack Ciattarelli in the closely contested gubernatorial election.

Strong Support for Jack Ciattarelli

“All I can say is that he’s everything that we believe in, and he’s going to do a great job. Our state can’t take another 25 years of what we’ve got. It’s horrible,” said the home’s owner, who requested anonymity, in an interview on Election Day.

She emphasized Ciattarelli's family values and ideas as reasons for their full support. “Ciattarelli is a good, good family man, and he’s got a lot of great ideas, so we definitely support him 100%.”

About the Iconic Property

The 5,600-square-foot mansion is situated at the end of a tree-lined cul-de-sac in an upscale Essex County neighborhood. A “Jack for Governor” sign is clearly visible in the well-maintained front yard.

Though the house was last listed for $3.4 million in 2019, it was later withdrawn from the market.

Public and Media Interest

The owner, frequently fielding visitors eager to glimpse the famous TV home, expressed no doubt about the political leanings of the fictional mob boss and family man once associated with the property.

“I have no doubt whom the house’s fictitious mob-boss owner and family man would support.”
