Joji, the acclaimed musician and former YouTuber, is returning with new music. He announced his fourth studio album, Piss in the Wind, set to be released on February 6, 2026, through Palace Creek.
The album merges his earlier and current sound, combining melancholic, introspective lyrics with gritty and atmospheric production.
Earlier this month, Joji quietly released the album’s first single, "PIXELATED KISSES." It is his first new music since 2022’s SMITHEREENS. The single quickly gained global attention, reaching nearly 50 million streams within hours and debuting on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
On November 5th, Joji shared another song from the upcoming album, titled "It Only Gets Better." This track highlights his lo-fi origins by blending acoustic guitar, syncopated bass, and soaring harmonies.
The music video, directed by James Mao, pays playful homage to "YEAH RIGHT" from Joji’s 2018 album BALLADS 1. It contrasts lively, club-like visuals with minimalist yet reflective lyrics.
SMITHEREENS featured the twice Platinum-certified and No. 1 Spotify Global 50 hit “Glimpse of Us,” which remains Joji’s highest-charting single so far.
