North Lincolnshire Unites to Honour Armed Forces This Remembrance Sunday
North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of its armed forces on Remembrance Sunday with a parade and remembrance service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
Parade Details
- The parade will assemble outside The Baths Hall from 10:10 AM.
- It will begin its procession at 10:25 AM along Doncaster Road.
- Participants include serving personnel, veterans, military organisations, and uniformed groups.
- The parade will proceed to the Cenotaph outside North Lincolnshire Museum.
Remembrance Service
The service will start at 10:45 AM with an Act of Remembrance, followed by a two-minute silence at 11:00 AM and wreath laying at the Cenotaph.
Afterward, the parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.
Community Gathering
From 9:30 AM, participants are invited to gather inside The Baths Hall for tea and coffee or join outside from 10:00 AM.
Following the service, The Baths Hall will host attendees for refreshments and reflection.
