Doha, Qatar, 4 November 2025 – Amid geopolitical tensions and growing inequalities, world leaders at the Second World Summit for Social Development adopted the Doha Political Declaration, reaffirming a global commitment to building just and inclusive societies.
The Declaration emphasizes governments' shared responsibility to combat poverty, generate decent jobs, promote equality, and protect human rights. It stresses that social development is not only a moral duty but also vital for peace, stability, and sustainable economic growth.

- Unlock financing for developing countries by reforming global financial systems and easing debt burdens.
- Ensure no one is left behind by empowering those at greatest risk of exclusion.
