Hip-hop artist Young Bleed, known for his role in No Limit Records and his influence on the Baton Rouge rap scene, passed away at 51 following a brain aneurysm.
The news was confirmed by his son, Ty'Gee Ramon Clifton, on Instagram on November 1. Clifton shared the heartbreaking update alongside a personal video and message.
“Rip to the biggest legend I kno…. Love u Dad so much and will definitely miss u… but imma carry the torch from here I got u 💔💔💔 #youngbleed #mydad #myfather @therealyoungbleed”

In his video, Clifton clarified misconceptions about his father’s age and expressed gratitude to the medical team who treated him. He mentioned that while Young Bleed generally enjoyed good health, he did have high blood pressure and took medication for it.
Clifton explained that his father’s condition worsened shortly after his performance at the CashMoney vs. NoLimit Verzuz event at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, where Louisiana hip-hop icons reunited. Following the show and an afterparty, Young Bleed reportedly suffered the aneurysm due to internal bleeding. Clifton suggested it was a natural, unforeseeable event.
