Bo Nix threw a touchdown pass as the Denver Broncos extended their impressive NFL winning streak to seven games by narrowly defeating the Las Vegas Raiders 10-7 on Thursday.
The victory, marked by strong defensive play, improved Denver's record to an NFL-best 8-2. This win also extended their lead in the AFC West division over the Los Angeles Chargers, who stand at 6-3. The Broncos are enjoying their longest winning streak since 2015.
Denver's defense was pivotal, recording six sacks and one interception, helping the team remain undefeated at home this season with a 5-0 record. Their 10th straight win at Mile High Stadium puts them alongside Indianapolis as the only NFL teams without a home loss this year.
"We have a really good defense and they showed up again tonight," said Bo Nix. "We didn't give them the best of fields at times but they still made plays and kept them out of field goal range. They keep winning games for us and getting us the ball back and at some point we have to return the favor."
The Raiders briefly took the lead early in the game with Ashton Jeanty's four-yard touchdown run at the 11:58 mark, but the Broncos' defense controlled the game afterward.
Denver's next matchup is scheduled for November 16 at home against AFC West rival Kansas City, with a bye week giving them 23 days between games.
"We've got a lot of work to do," Nix added. "But we're winning and that's all that matters."
The Broncos' resilient defense and timely scoring have fueled their NFL-best seven-game winning streak, positioning them strongly atop their division.
