Former NFL player Antonio Brown was arrested on an attempted murder charge related to a shooting that occurred after a celebrity boxing event in Miami.
According to Miami police spokesperson Mike Vega, Brown, 37, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Dubai. He was then flown to Essex County, New Jersey, where he remains detained pending extradition to Miami.
The arrest warrant describes an incident on May 16 following the boxing match, where Brown allegedly took a handgun from a security staffer and fired two shots at a man with whom he had previously engaged in a fistfight.
