Every November, the National Football League pays tribute to active-duty service members and veterans across the United States. This year’s celebration began at Joint Base Andrews, where Airmen shared messages of support for their favorite football teams.
SSgt Kortnee Spencer, from the 316th Airlift Wing, sent her shout-out to the Washington Commanders.
Airman Diaz, also from the 316th, expressed support for the Baltimore Ravens.
A1C Hector De Jesus, serving with the 316th, showed his loyalty to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Gary Charland, a member of the same unit, also cheered for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Tsgt Daniel Paige from the 316th Airlift Wing voiced his support for the Miami Dolphins.
“Each November, the NFL honors those who serve and have served our nation,” said a league representative during the event.
The opening of ‘Salute to Service’ month at Joint Base Andrews highlighted the deep connection between the NFL community and the U.S. Armed Forces.
