TORONTO, ONT – The Los Angeles Dodgers forced a decisive Game 7 in the World Series after a 3–1 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 6 on Friday night. Manager Dave Roberts confirmed that nearly every player will be available for the final showdown, including two-way star Shohei Ohtani.
“Everyone will be available,” Roberts said.
Roberts acknowledged that Yoshinobu Yamamoto will not pitch, but indicated that Ohtani could either start or appear in relief. Tyler Glasnow might also pitch on consecutive days, depending on the team’s needs.
“He’s certainly going to be part of the pitching plan,” Roberts added. “With Shohei it could be two innings, but it could be four innings. We’ll have to talk to him first about where he feels most comfortable.”
The Dodgers are exploring several pitching options, while the Blue Jays are expected to start three-time Cy Young Award winner and former Dodger Max Scherzer. Ohtani’s flexibility as both pitcher and outfielder gives Los Angeles additional strategic possibilities heading into the finale.
Dave Roberts keeps options open for Game 7, with Shohei Ohtani likely contributing on the mound as the Dodgers face the Blue Jays in a decisive World Series finale.
