The City of Fairmont is set to welcome back its first craft beer festival just in time for Halloween weekend. On Saturday, November 1, starting at 2 p.m., Main Street Fairmont will hold the 2nd Annual Frank n Stein Craft Beer Festival.
The event will feature nearly two dozen breweries and over a dozen food vendors from the North Central West Virginia region celebrating Halloween with attendees in downtown Fairmont. The festival will run until 6 p.m.
Alex Petry, Executive Director of Main Street Fairmont, encourages local residents to join the festival, which highlights both local food and breweries. He explained the collaboration behind the event:
“This Saturday, November 1st, is the 2nd Annual Frank n Stein Craft Beer and Hot Dog Festival, and what that is is that it’s a partnered event between Main Street Fairmont and the Chamber of Commerce. And the theme is Frank n Stein, so that’s hot dogs and beer.”
According to Petry, 14 Mountain State breweries and four from neighboring states will participate. In-state breweries include Corber Beer Company, Greenbrier Valley, Short Storey Brewing, High Ground Brewing, Chestnut Brew Works, Free Folk, Hawk Knob, Screech Out, Stub Town Ales, and Big Timber.
Festival-goers can also purchase exclusive mugs crafted by Fairmont area artisans throughout the afternoon.
The festival offers a unique blend of local flavors and community spirit to kick off the Halloween celebrations.
