Wear a Red Poppy This Remembrance Day

RSL Victoria encourages everyone to buy a red poppy ahead of Remembrance Day, observed on Monday, 11 November 2024. This day marks the anniversary of the 1918 Armistice, which ended World War I fighting with Germany.

Services will be held at 11am across Ararat, Willaura, and Lake Bolac to commemorate the occasion. Every year, millions observe a moment of silence at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
