Novo Nordisk will introduce an oral version of Wegovy to Australia by 2027. The drug maker says the pill will launch after gaining regulatory approval. Injectable Wegovy already is sold in Australia. The UK began selling the oral formula in June 2026. This shows Novo is expanding sales in key markets. Australian authorities must approve the pill first. The oral version will complement the injectable version already on sale.
