The United States men's national team faces Canada in an international friendly at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Wednesday, wrapping up the October international window. The USMNT have not beaten their northern neighbours in 58 years, and another failure would extend that embarrassing run.

Coach Jesse Marsch is also facing a selection headache. Folarin Balogun is in doubt after a ban decision that Marsch criticised publicly, calling it something that would "never happen" anywhere outside the United States. The disruption adds pressure to a squad already heading into a fixture with obvious bragging-rights implications.
