Around nearly a thousand firefighters are now battling forest fires in northern Quebec. Additional crews are being sent from other parts of Canada to help contain the flames.
The government also put new restrictions near Matagami because of the blazes. Meanwhile in the city, workers are repairing damage at the venue.
