Australian actress Nicole da Silva, best known for her role as Franky Doyle in Wentworth, has been cast as Dr. Amelia Carlisle in Home and Away.[1][3]
Channel Seven officially revealed on April 11, 2026, that Nicole will portray the new doctor arriving at Northern Districts Hospital in Summer Bay. She began filming earlier this year, with fans spotting her on set in January alongside cast members like Jeremy Lindsay Taylor and Ada Nicodemou. Her character is expected to appear on screen in the coming months.[5][7][1]
Nicole previously guest-starred on Home and Away in 2006 as Jane Sims and has experience with medical roles from All Saints. She described keeping the role secret amid Wentworth fan excitement and hinted at intriguing storylines ahead.
